Americorps

EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES THROUGH AMERICORPS

AmeriCorps is a national service program that promotes and addresses critical needs in communities. AmeriCorps members serving in the Economic Opportunity Coaching Program provide individual and group coaching to Peckham team members and eligible community members from Ingham, Eaton, Clinton and Calhoun counties. AmeriCorps Members coach people with disabilities, refugees, and low-income individuals in the areas of financial literacy, adult education, employability skill development, and tax preparation to help them achieve and maintain economic stability.
