When can I start enrolling in benefits if I’m hired?
Benefit Enrollment: Benefit enrollment is optional and only available to full-time Peckham staff who are working. Peckham Staff must enroll in benefits within 30 days of the hire date and most benefits will become effective the first day of the month following 28 days of employment. Example: Hire Date 4/29/2024, Benefit Start Date 6/1/2024.

Does Peckham offer an employment match for retirement?
Peckham offers a generous employer contribution to staff’s retirement each year. This is in addition to the mission incentive bonus eligible to Peckham staff each year.

What types of wellness initiatives does Peckham offer?
Peckham staff can enjoy and have access to onsite fitness centers, group exercise classes, walking trails, race and walking reimbursements, weight management resources, corporate challenges, and many other fitness related incentives. All full-time employees are eligible to earn money each quarter for participating in and completing certain wellbeing activities.
We provide staff with resources to help them eat smart, exercise regularly, and get routine health screenings and vaccinations.
Preventive healthcare services include annual onsite biometric screenings, flu vaccinations, smoking cessation, occupational injury care, ergonomic assessments, nutrition resources, a pre-diabetes program, and many other services.
Peckham partners with various organizations to provide financial services including financial counseling related to retirement, saving for your future, meeting financial goals and obligations, and debt relief.

What is Public Service Loan Forgiveness?
Peckham is a Qualifying Employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer.
