As a nonprofit social enterprise, Peckham believes people with disabilities and other barriers to employment deserve the chance to work, contribute and belong to a community. We focus on creating inclusive training and employment opportunities, recognizing that people with disabilities are some of the most capable and reliable talent in the workforce.
Through our social enterprises, we deliver high-quality results while helping people gain meaningful work experience and economic independence. Social Enterprises
Our business model is simple: focus on people, deliver value, and exceed customer expectations. With diverse expertise across five social enterprises, we meet the unique needs of both commercial and government customers. Deep experience in contact centers, manufacturing, custodial, warehousing and farming set us apart as industry leaders.
Our History
Founded in 1976 to provide job training and employment for people with disabilities, Peckham was named in honor of former Michigan Rehabilitation Services Director Ralf A. Peckham. Today, we’re one of the largest vocational rehabilitation programs in the nation, offering +30 human services programs and more.
